ABOUT CREATIVE THINKERS
Creative Thinkers LLC was established in 2007 by Judith Stein, M.A., who served for 20 years as Associate Director for Communication, Health Education, and Public Liaison at the National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Arnold Porsch, a nationally recognized award-winning video producer/writer who managed large media production contracts supporting Department of Defense (DOD) missions. Since that time, Creative Thinkers has provided consulting services to the Federal government, non-profit organizations, and businesses.
About Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Companies (SDVOC)
Creative Thinkers has been designated as a Service Disabled Veteran and Woman-Owned Company (SDVOC) by the Federal government’s System for Award Management (SAM) and by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Working with SDVOCs can benefit government agencies and non-governmental organizations for a variety of reasons. Under the Veterans Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Act of 1999 (Public Law 106-50), the government aims to award at least 3% of its contracts to small business concerns owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans. |
Working with an SDVOC can help agencies streamline the procurement process by setting aside some awards for exclusive competition and allowing sole source awards among SDVOCs.
Creative Thinkers has successfully competed for SDVOC set-aside awards from Federal government agencies. If you are considering such a solicitation, contracting specialists will be knowledgeable about the process.
